Prior to establishing Mohamed Ghattour & Co., Mr. Mohamed worked in the Libyan Ministry of Foreign Affairs as Minister Plenipotentiary, where he was an advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as the Director of the Economic Department. Mr. Mohamed also served 1 year as the Libyan Head of Mission in Brazil. In addition to these roles, Mr. Mohamed worked for 10 years with ESSO Libya in several senior accounting and finance roles.
As the Country Senior Partner of Mohamed Ghattour & Co., The late Mr. Mohamed was responsible for all the work performed in, and all the clients of, the office. He has developed particularly strong relationships with his clients, whether international or domestic, and is considered a trusted and capable advisor to all and is now succeeded by his son Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Ghattour.
The late Mr. Mohamed Ghattour was involved in several important National Committees, including the Committee for the Review of Libyan Tax Laws and Regulations, and the Committee of the Exchange Rate.
